1997 Lagrange :
Nice ruby colour.
Oaky
nose with an interesting evolution towards humus, blackcurrant fruit and
vanilla. Long and
fruity mouth, slight
acidity but lacks a little bit of tannins to be a great wine (maybe the trademark of the
vintage?). Extremely nice to drink now and certainly for the next 10 years.

2001 Lagrange
- Saint-Julien,Bordeaux, France
2007 April - Oaky, cedar and ripe red fruit bouquet. Dynamic
attack that hits all the parts of the tongue. But the midpalate
doesn't manage to convince me as there is something disjointed and
weird about the wine. The taste is typical Saint Julien but only of
modest concentration and the finish is fairly brisk. A below average
Lagrange.
